Tiptoe’s surgery went well, but the docs weren’t able to completely open up her aorta.  We’ve got an MRI scheduled in 3 weeks to help them decide when to put a patch in the aorta to make it wider.  They’re considering doing the patch at the same time they do the Glenn operation; this would obviously raise the complexity of the operation, and would necessitate her being on the bypass machine.

In the meanttime, she’s finally back to her old, cheerful self.  We’ll take it where we can get it.
