PAGE 4 (five panels)

Panel 1: ANGELA is wiping her hands on her jumpsuit as she hustles through a corridor filled with gurneys with people on them. Obviously a hospital. BENSON is following her closely.

1 ANGELA:
YOU DON’T LOVE ME.

2 BENSON:
YES I DO.

3 ANGELA:
NO, YOU LOVE THAT I WORK DOUBLE SHIFTS WITHOUT COMPLAINING.

4 BENSON:
MY LOVE IS COMPLICATED.

Panel 2: They emerge from double doors that lead out into a high, wide corridor. One wall of the corridor is all glass, showing a beautiful view of the nebula, the starships cruising by…

1 ANGELA:
I’M NOT STAYING.

2 BENSON:
WHATEVER NATALIE CALDWELL OFFERED YOU, I’LL DOUBLE IT.

3 ANGELA:
IT’S NOT ABOUT THE MONEY.

4 BENSON:
WHAT, THEN?

Panel 3: This panel takes up most of the page. ANGELA has stopped in the middle of the concourse. People are all around her. BENSON has stopped too, facing her. ANGELA is facing one of the windows. A giant spaceship hangs out there against the blackness. That is what she’s looking at.

1 ANGELA:
IT'S...SPACE, BENSON.

2 BENSON:
SPACE? ANGELA, SPACE IS…COLD! AND…EMPTY!

Panel 4: Shot of Angela's face. She's shaking her head. She sees something out there BENSON just doesn't.

1 ANGELA:
NEVERMIND.

Panel 5: BENSON stands in impotent fury behind her, raising his fists, and shouting.

1 BENSON:
YOU’LL NEVER WORK WITH CLEGG APPLIED SCIENCE AGAIN! EVER!

2 ANGELA:
THAT'S THE POINT.
