Tiptoe was born on December 20; we’ve been recovering ever since.

As expected, she has serious heart defects.  Which are hidden by how utterly gorgeous she is.

Despite the heart problems, she’s doing very well.  The cardio/surgery teams want to wait for her to gain some weight before surgery.  The wait is frustrating, to say the least.  Which is not to say that we don’t trust the doctors– it’s just really difficult leaving her in the NICU day after day.  I want her home.  I want her healed, more, though.
