New Frivel and Schleck– I am Orson Scott Card’s Hero…

I updated the Frivel and Schleck page with a new poem called ‘Our Club’; like ‘Get Better,’ and ‘We’ll Sure Miss You Jollie,’ it’s intended as a song. Sort of. It’s got two verses, each followed by a chorus, and a bridge, anyway. Like a…um…song does. Sometimes.

An acquaintance pointed out that Orson Scott Card complimented my light verse on his website– I had to do some digging, but I found the comment:

“Frivel and Schleck– my new heroes.”

Of course he then said that Frivel and Schleck was even more heroic than Arnold Schwarzenegger. I happen to know Card’s opinion on some of Schwarzenegger’s politics– we share the same view– so this statement may be sarcastic and not complimentary at all.
Bah! I’m calling it complimentary. I’m also going to exploit it on a book jacket someday. Mwuaahhaaaaaa!
